The lessons

How is the curriculum organized?

The syllabus has 10 chapters divided into units. Each unit groups lessons around a topic. Stars on the learning path represent levels.

Link to this answer
How many lessons are available now?

There are currently 141 playable lessons across 3 chapters. You can browse the syllabus for the other chapters, but their lessons are still in preparation.

Link to this answer
Why are some chapters in preparation?

Their syllabus is defined, but the lessons have not been written and integrated yet. Their first star introduces the chapter; it does not open a finished lesson. No release date has been announced.

Link to this answer
How does a lesson work?

You discover a concept through an illustrated explanation or a small interactive scene. You then practice by filling in code. Echo guides you through the steps.

Link to this answer
Why use fill-in-the-blank exercises?

Prefilled code lets you focus on the concept you are learning. You choose the missing elements without typing a whole script. Repetition helps you recognize the right structure, including on mobile.

Link to this answer
What happens if I give a wrong answer?

The lesson gives you feedback to help you understand the mistake. You can correct your answer and continue. You do not need to pay to try again.

Link to this answer
Are the exercises enough to make a game?

Exercises help you understand and recognize code. To learn to write your own scripts, you also need to practice in Roblox Studio. Studio missions provide preparation, a reference script and an expected result to check.

Your progress

Can I leave a lesson and come back?

Yes. In the same browser, LuaQuest saves your progress and compatible answers from the current lesson. Return without clearing the site data to resume your attempt.

Link to this answer
Do I have to follow lessons in order?

On the free plan, you progress in order within each chapter. You can start the first lesson of each available chapter independently. Completed lessons remain accessible.

Link to this answer
Can I repeat a completed lesson?

Yes, for free. Select its star on the learning path to repeat it. A completed lesson remains replayable even if you originally opened it with Premium.

Link to this answer
Does skipping a level complete earlier lessons?

No. Skipping gives you access to the chosen lesson without completing the others for you. Only lessons you actually finish are marked as completed.

Link to this answer
Does changing language erase my progress?

No. You keep completed lessons and compatible answers from your attempt. Change language in Settings or with the language control in a lesson.

Link to this answer
Do I have to finish a lesson in one sitting?

No. You can stop and resume later in the same browser. Lessons do not require you to finish within a time limit.

Does Premium unlock lessons in preparation?

Help and data

Where is my progress saved?

It is stored in your browser’s local site data. It is not synchronized with a connected account. Keep using the same browser and avoid clearing the site data to retain it.

Link to this answer
Can I get my progress on another device?

Not automatically at this stage. Each browser keeps its own data. Moving to another device or browser does not transfer your progress.

Link to this answer
Can I use private browsing?

You can open the site, but the browser may delete local data when you close the private session. Use a normal session if you want to retain your lessons and answers.

Link to this answer
Why has my progress disappeared?

Check that you are using the same browser and site address. A private session, another device or cleared site data can explain the difference. There is no connected-account backup to restore deleted data yet.

How do I turn off sound effects?

Open Settings, then Preferences, and turn off sound effects. The sound control inside lessons uses the same setting.

Link to this answer
How do I start over?

In Settings → Account, use the local reset and confirm your choice. It clears your local name, progress and attempts. Language, sound and customization preferences are retained.

Link to this answer
Can I replay the tour without losing progress?

Yes. Open Settings → Help and choose the tour replay action. This does not reset your lessons or answers.
